Court Rules Against DACA Program, AGC Calls on Congress to Act

A federal court ruled against the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and thereby placed the program’s future and the nearly 100,000 individuals in the construction industry working under DACA work authorization under legal threat.

A federal court ruled against the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and thereby placed the program’s future and the nearly 100,000 individuals in the construction industry working under DACA work authorization under legal threat. AGC remains supportive of extending the workforce authorizations of DACA recipients and joins the Essential Worker Coalition in calling on Congress to pass immigration reform legislation.
